Adjunct Associate Professor

Bio

Mr. Moshier joined Moshier Studio in 2003 and is responsible for design, project management and expertise in sustainable design. He is a LEED®Accredited Professional and has been active in the Green Building movement in Pittsburgh for over a decade. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Green Building Alliance and was instrumental in the organization’s formation. Gary received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Carnegie Mellon University and is a registered architect in Pennsylvania. Mr. Moshier led the sustainable design and LEED certification efforts for 5 projects completed by Moshier Studio in as many years. In addition, he also consults with other architects, contractors, developers and owners by providing LEED and green champion services on their projects and serves as on the adjunct faculty of Carnegie Mellon, teaching about LEED and sustainable building practices. Mr. Moshier also has extensive experience in creating high performance spaces for customer contact centers throughout North America and internationally.  Moshier Studio is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Green Building Alliance.

Education

Gary Moshier received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University and has completed additional coursework in industrial design and historic preservation.
