Transfer Applicants-School of Architecture - Carnegie Mellon University

Transfer admission to the School of Architecture is limited. Enrolled transfer students are classified as freshman and will begin in the first year of the five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree program.

TRANSFER APPLICANTS must complete Carnegie Mellon’s transfer admission process through the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Architecture transfer applicants are required to submit additional applicant materials to the School of Architecture, including the questionnaire, submit a portfolio of creative work, and schedule a Transfer Interview with the School of Architecture.  To review requirements for Transfer admission to the School of Architecture, please visit here

  • Or, you wish to be contacted to set up a telephone Transfer Interview if you are not coming for an On-Campus Portfolio Review.
