Outstanding Culture
Those who have been nominated for the Andy Award for Outstanding Culture foster a balanced and inclusive workplace. Their initiatives and achievements demonstrate a commitment to building a positive and supportive work environment, particularly in areas related to diversity, professional development and work/life balance. Madelyn and the leadership she has provided to her department exemplify the traits of the winner of this award. She is able to bring a diverse department together in a way that enables collaboration and mutual respect, regardless of backgrounds or personal beliefs. Professional and personal work/life balance is a priority and she ensures her staff has the resources necessary to do their jobs. By focusing on the strengths of the individuals on her team, Madelyn has managed to create a dynamic work environment in which staff are able to improve their own skills, as well as their ability to work together.

Mary is this year's recipient of the Pat Kleyle Staff Recognition Award, given annually to an Enrollment Services staff member who represents the workplace values of professionalism, service, dedication to the university and personal development and lifelong learning. Her commitment to growth and her commitment to customer service are unmatched. Mary's positive attitude brightens the workplace and she is an indispensible asset to Enrollment Services.
