Reunions
Reunions are held each year, in conjunction with the Spring Carnival celebration. The Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association offers undergraduate classes and interest groups the opportunity to organize reunions.
Class Reunions
These reunions provide the opportunity for undergraduate alumni to celebrate the anniversary of their graduation with alumni and friends from their class year. 50th Reunion
The 50th Reunion is an important landmark for every alumnus/a. The university takes great pride in welcoming our 50th Reunion celebrants to Homecoming each year, and honors each of them individually during a Medallion Ceremony, which in a highlight of this reunion. A special 50th Reunion Memory Book also is published for the occasion. Medallions and memory books are mailed to those alumni unable to attend their 50th reunion celebration.
Alumni Interest Group Reunions
Alumni Interest Group reunions reconnect alumni with a common interest or affinity to the university. These reunions may be based on residence houses/halls, vocal ensembles, clubs or athletic programs, among others. Reunions for these groups are usually based on the anniversaries of when the groups were established and may occur at either Spring Carnival or Homecoming. Alumni who would like to plan a reunion for their group can contact Sarah McMullen for more information.
