Harry R. Faulk Memorial (1921-2008)

Hamburg Hall

In 1982, Heinz College (then known as School of Urban Design and Public Affairs) created
the Master of Public Management (MPM) program. Associate Dean Harry Faulk headed the
MPM program and played an important role in the development of Heinz College and its
programs for over 27 years. Harry cared deeply about students and alumni and had a
profound influence on many lives. In 2002, he was honored with Carnegie Mellon's Robert
Doherty Prize, awarded annually to members of the university community who make substantial
and sustained contributions to excellence in education.  Master of Ceremonies: Nancy A. Swanson

Harry R. Faulk Memorial (1921-2008)

Hamburg Hall

In 1982, Heinz College (then known as School of Urban Design and Public Affairs) created
the Master of Public Management (MPM) program. Associate Dean Harry Faulk headed the
MPM program and played an important role in the development of Heinz College and its
programs for over 27 years. Harry cared deeply about students and alumni and had a
profound influence on many lives. In 2002, he was honored with Carnegie Mellon's Robert
Doherty Prize, awarded annually to members of the university community who make substantial
and sustained contributions to excellence in education.  Master of Ceremonies: Nancy A. Swanson
