Why Make a Gift?
Since its founding, philanthropy has been a cornerstone of Carnegie Mellon. This tradition can be traced back more than 100 years, when Andrew Carnegie created the Carnegie Technical Schools for the sons and daughters of Pittsburgh’s workers.
Today, this spirit lives on through the generosity of alumni just like you. It is your participation in giving each year — not the amount of your gift — that really counts.
Demonstrate your commitment by making a gift today. You can help today's students by choosing one of the following designations from the drop-down menu:
- The Carnegie Mellon Fund, which helps address the university's most immediate need
- Scholarships/Fellowships
- The General Endowment Fund
- A specific department, school or program that you are passionate about supporting.
