The Campus Visit

During the course of the visit the committee members meet with the college's or school's faculty, students and professional staff, as well as the president, provost and dean.

Day One

Before the Advisory Board visit begins the members willl have the opportunity to review the agenda together and identify key issues; the co-chairs assign members to the various sessions. After welcome remarks by the president and a brief overview by the provost, the dean will present an extensive overview of the college or school. After a brief break, informational sessions begin.

The day ends with a reception and dinner.

Day Two

The second day continues with additional informational sessions and presentations.

Towards the end of the day there is a working committee session, the purpose of which is to is clarify any outstanding issues or questions, and finalize the committee's preliminary observations and recommendations. The day ends with an executive session of the committee presenting a preliminary, oral report to the president, provost and dean.
