The Art Conservation Research Center is an applied research organization at Carnegie Mellon University dedicated to helping museums, libraries and archives improve the ways of caring for their collections. For over 50 years the Center has been a world leader in discovering the origins of aging problems that threaten cultural property, and in developing practical and effective strategies to inhibit or avoid deterioration.
