Student Checklist and Deadlines

Always have access to an @alumni.cmu.edu email address by registering for the online alumni network. The online community also allows you to access the alumni directory, submit and read class notes and participate in the online career center.

Friday, March 20: Deadline for Doctor's Candidates to Confirm Participation and Identify Faculty Hooder
Doctor's candidates should confirm participation in the Hooding Ceremony and identify the faculty member who will hood them on stage. See the Doctor's Hooding page for more details.

Friday, March 27: Diploma and Academic Information Verification Deadline
Verify your diploma and academic information via the HUB's Graduation Online Service.

Wednesday, April 1: Cap and Gown Order Deadline
Degree candidates and participating faculty must wear caps and gowns at the main commencement ceremony, diploma ceremonies, the Phi Beta Kappa initiation ceremony and the Doctor's Hooding Ceremony. Cap and gown orders will be accepted beginning in February. Please check back for more information and to place an order.
