Carnegie Mellon's Regina Gouger Miller Gallery Presents the 2006 Senior Exhibition, May 5-21

PITTSBURGH—Carnegie Mellon University's Regina Gouger Miller Gallery will present the 2006 Senior Exhibition, "ARTSCOOL," May 5-21. The gallery will host an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 5. The reception is free and open to the public.

The exhibition will contain a wide variety of works from 48 graduating students. Pieces will include drawings, paintings, sculptures, videos, projections, performances and multi-media projects.

"These artists are most 'cool' (and paradoxically 'hot') in the questions they have asked of themselves and each other and the creative responses they offer to us now and into the future," said Susanne Slavick, head of the School of Art.

The Regina Gouger Miller Gallery, located on the Carnegie Mellon campus, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Visitor parking is available in the East Campus Garage, located on Forbes Avenue just east of the Morewood Avenue intersection.

Exhibitions at the Miller Gallery are supported in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; individual sponsors; the School of Art and the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon.
