Tepper School of Business, Jones Day and SEC Chief Economist To Discuss Corporate Governance in a Post Sarbanes-Oxley Environment

PITTSBURGH—Corporate directors and their advisors will hear firsthand details of the future of corporate governance from the chief economist of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, faculty from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and leading attorneys from across America. In addition, business leaders will be part of discussions on such topics as white-collar crime, bankruptcy, Sarbanes-Oxley and other major issues in corporate governance led by the international law firm Jones Day and faculty from the Tepper School.

DETAILS: "Getting Back To Business—Beyond Sarbanes-Oxley" will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon. Topics include: How to Interpret Sarbanes-Oxley, Protecting Your Directors and Officers, New Audit Committees, Good Corporate Governance, Handling Corporate Investigations and the Impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on Non-Profits.

FEE: There is no fee for participants.
