Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon Presents 4th Annual Bioforum
PROGRAM: The Biotech Club at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University presents Bioforum 2004, a conference focusing on the business of biotechnology. This year's theme is "The Evolution of the Biotech and Pharma Relationship." Bioforum 2004 includes a "Biotech Showcase" of several local biotech companies pitching venture capitalists; a "VC and Start-up Mixer;" and a speakers panel featuring Gregg Beloff, CFO, Archemix Corporation; Tony Meehan, Ph.D., director of pharmaceutical development, Transform Pharmaceuticals; Charles-Andre Brouwers, director, Boston Consulting Group; and Robert Mays, Ph.D., co-founder and director of Cell Biology, Athersys, Inc.
WHEN: Friday, April 2, 2004; noon to 1 p.m. registration; 1 to 3 p.m., Biotech Showcase; 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. VC and Start-up Mixer; 4:30 to 6 p.m., speakers panel; 6:15 to 7 p.m. panel discussion; 7 to 8:30 p.m. reception.
