Entertainment Technology Center to Host Open House and Exhibit on Building Virtual Worlds

PITTSBURGH—Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) will host an open house to showcase student work and supply visitors with information about the ETC and its programs at noon Friday, Dec. 5, at the Pittsburgh Technology Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience video games and virtual reality programs that faculty and students have been developing during the past semester.

ETC co-directors Don Marinelli and Randy Pausch will make presentations in the Multi-Purpose room at 5325 Pittsburgh Technology Center, 700 Technology Drive. Lunch will be provided.

In addition, ETC will host a special presentation from the Building Virtual Worlds 2003 (BVW) class at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, in McConomy Auditorium, University Center on the Carnegie Mellon campus. Participants will be able to interact with student BVW projects.
