Carnegie Mellon University Libraries Receive Endowment in Memory of Werner Fiedler Sr.

PITTSBURGH—Carnegie Mellon University Libraries have announced that Christine Fiedler O'Connor and Thomas O'Connor have established a reading materials endowment in memory of Mrs. O'Connor's father, Werner C. Fiedler Sr. (E'48).

Matched by a gift from Microsoft Corporation, the generous endowment honors Mr. Fiedler's interests as well as his strong avocation for reading by providing additional books and electronic resources in electrical and computer engineering.

Two of Mrs. O'Connor's brothers are also Carnegie Mellon alumni: Gary W. Fiedler, IM'69 and Werner C. Fiedler Jr., H&SS'80 & '85.
