MSCF NY On the Move

88 Pine St Relocation

Carnegie Mellon’s Master of Science in Computational Finance (MSCF) degree was the first of its kind in the world. Led by 21 full-time, tenure-track faculty with specialties in statistics, math, computer science and finance, MSCF has prepared students for highly successful careers in quantitative finance for nearly 30 years.

With 2,000 alumni and counting, MSCF is in demand for its specialized interdisciplinary curriculum in New York City and Pittsburgh. To better meet this demand, MSCF recently acquired space in a new location at 88 Pine Street in the Financial District.

The 12th floor suite features impressive views, ample natural light and modern aesthetics, in addition to new state-of-the-art video conferencing technology and increased collaboration areas.

Designed with cohesion in mind between the New York and Pittsburgh locations, MSCF will be the sole tenant of the 12thfloor.

The new location will allow MSCF to continue setting our students up for incredible success — 98% of graduates receive offers within 3 months of graduation — while helping them learn and network in an ideal location just adjacent to Wall Street and easily accessible near the Seaport.

Here, students and alumni will engage in mock interviews, experiential panels, presentations and networking to expand their educational and professional prospects.

The new venue is set to commence classes in January 2024* and will host numerous upcoming events and activities in the future.

*The ability for MSCF to deliver classes at 88 Pine Street currently is pending approval by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
